Four byes for the week and an odd rescheduling occurrence set the Sunday slate for Week 5. CBS has the national game of the week, as John Elway and the undefeated Denver Broncos, who have run roughshod this season are on big D to take on the Dallas Cowboys. It will be the only late game to air on CBS (FOX has one regional game), as the San Diego-Oakland game was moved to 8:30 PM PST/11:30 PM EST. A MLB Playoff game in the Oakland Coliseum the evening before will prevent the stadium to be ready before the original kickoff time. The late late game will air on NFL Network nationally, available to local affiliates and feature CBS talent, Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts. FOX have regional coverage with a terrific mix of games including New Orleans at Chicago as their game of the week.
National games this week include a Thursday Night Football game with the Bills and Browns that is far more interesting now, then it was before the season started. Houston are in San Francisco on NBC and ESPN wraps up the week Jets losing playing in Atlanta.
