2013 MLB Postseason: Wild Card & Divisional Series

The MLB Post season gets started tonight with a one game tie breaker into a one game Wild Card.  The Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers tied for the second playoff spot and will play Monday night to determine who goes to Cleveland on Wednesday. Tuesday, the NL Wild Card will be a the fourth game of the week between Central rivals, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.  Its the first Pirate playoff game since Sid Bream scored to win the pennant for Atlanta in 1992.

****TBS has announced their assignments for each series.  MLB on Deck pregame show on TBS will proceed each game hosted by Keith Olbermann, Pedro Martinez and Tom Verducci with Dirk Hayhurst contributing.

ESPN Radio have also announced their crews, with Dan Shulman and Orel Hershiser calling the NL Wild Card, Atlanta-Los Angeles NLDS, the NLCS and the World Series.  Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will call the the AL game, including the Red Sox division series against the Wild Card winner and the ALCS.  Other assignments include Dave Flemming joining Rick Sutcliffe (NLWC-St. Louis) and Michael Kay with Aarron Boone (Detroit-Oakland).

MLB Network will assign Bob Costas and Jim Kaat on Friday in St. Louis with Sam Ryan reporting. Matt Vasgersian will join Kaat and Ryan on Monday in a game yet to be decided.  MLB Tonight will use their usual cast of analysts that will include current Major Leaguers Raul Ibanez, Mark DeRossa, Mark Texeira, and Adam Jones, as well as White Sox announcer Ken 'Hawk' Harrelson.
