News & Notes: Michael Kay on YES; Super Bowl Notes


  • ESPN and the YES Network have come to agreement in simulcasting The Michael Kay Show.  Kay, the radio host for ESPN and main play by play announcer for the New York Yankee's television network, along with Don LaGreca  will air live starting Monday, February 3rd and run 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kay will replace WFAN's Mike Francesa's radio Show, which ended its 10 year run on YES last month.
  • FOX Sports have announced that FOX News Channel's personality Bill O'Reilly of the 'The O'Reilly Factor' will interview U.S. President Barack Obama on Super Bowl Sunday.  This will be the second time O'Reilly will interview Obama in the traditional Super Bowl segment between the President and the host network's main news host.  The interview will air during the FOX Super Bowl Sunday pregame show at approximately 4:30 p.m.  More taped portions of the interview will air the following night on FNC.
  • In other Super Bowl News, FOX Sports, NFL Network, CBS Sports Network and ESPN have all announced their daily coverage of Super Bowl Media Week.  Each network will air almost round the clock coverage on television, radio and internet platforms reporting of news and notes leading up the game on February 2.
