World Baseball Classic: Second Round & USA Games

World Baseball Classic Second Round gets under way with the double elimination portion in the far east and the first round action in the states.  The United States start a three game set in Phoenix against Pool D opponents.  They open Friday night against Mexico, Saturday night against Italy and a Sunday afternoon against team Canada.   Matt Vasgersian and Jim Kaat will have the call for all US games and will be joined by Sam Ryan as the field reporter.  Matt Yallof and Jeff Nelson will call two games in Scottsdale on Thursday and Friday.   

Gary Thorne and Jose Mota will be in Puerto Rico for the Pool C games and will be joined by Alanna Rizzo.  Rich Waltz and Buck Martinez will be in Japan for the entire Second Round.
