2014 Final Four Broadcast Primer

The 2014 Final Four will take place Saturday night April 5th, from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  For the first time in the tournaments history, the game will air on cable television as TBS will present the entire broadcast.  Tip off for the first game is 6:09 p.m. as the #1 ranked Florida Gators take on the Connecticut Huskies.  40 minutes after the games conclusion, the Kentucky Wildcats will take on the Big 10 Champions, the Wisconsin Badgers. 

Coverage of the National Semifinals begins at 6 p.m., as Jim Nantz will call his 24th Final Four since 1991.  He will be joined by Greg Anthony working his first Final Four since assuming the top analyst spot last year and Turner's Steve Kerr calling his fourth.  Tracy Wolfson will be reporting from the sidelines for the sixth year.  Turner Sports will also present a 3-hour pregame show hosted by Ernie Johnson at 3 p.m. and the game will feature team casts for participating schools in the Final Four with personalized broadcasts airing on TNT and TruTV. 

The entire crew return on Monday night, April 7th , for the National Championship game on CBS for the 33rd consecutive year.

ESPN will present the Women's Final Four from Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, April 6th with the championship game on Tuesday, April 8th.  Sunday's games include Connecticut taking on Stanford in the early game, followed by Notre Dame against Maryland.  Dave O'Brien and Doris Burke will have to call, along with Holly Rowe as the sideline reporter.
