The MLB postseason continues with the League Championship series airing on three networks. Turner Sports will have continuing coverage of their post season with the American League Championship Series as the Baltimore Orioles will meet the Wild Card darlings, the Kanas City Royals on TBS. Ernie Johnson will have the call along with Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Ron Darling and field reporter Matt Winer.
FOX Sports will split coverage of the National League Championship Series on FOX and FOX Sports 1 as the St. Louis Cardinals meet the San Francisco Giants. Joe Buck will lead the FOX broadcast along with MLB Network's Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci. Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal will be both be reporting from the field. FOX will experiment with a analytical megacast during Game 1 of the NLCS. With the broadcast on FOX, FOX Sports 1 will air a live studio show, featuring talent from its online venture, JOBA (Just a Bit Outside), while the game is progress, that will have provide statistical and sabermetrics analysis and debate. The panel will include host Kevin Burkhadt, analysts C.J. Nitkowski, Gabe Kapler, FOX Sports.com's Rob Neyer and San Diego manager Bud Black. The broadcast will be similar to ESPN's megacast during their National Championship telecast.
ESPN Radio will broadcast both series with Dan Shulman and Aaron Boone calling the NLCS, and their Sunday Night Baseball Radio team of Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton working the ALCS.
