NBA TV are going to ride the Miami Heat's historic run against CBS's and Turner's coverage of the NCAA Tournament. The league's network will air Pistons-Heat on Friday night with Miami's 24 game win streak on the line.
Very abbreviated schedule NBA schedule due to the NCAA tournament, but what lacks in quantity makes up with quality. Miami's historic winning streak is on the line tonight as perennial league MVP Lebron James and the Heat play their conference nemesis the Boston Celtics. ESPN will air a rare Monday night doubleheader beginning with the showdown at the TD Garden, followed by the battered New York Knicks out west in Utah. NBA TV's NBA Fan Night voting was decided overwhelming with a potential a Western Conference final contest as Oklahoma City host Denver. There will be no NBA Showcase game on ABC the next two weeks.
No hockey telecast on NBC either, but NBC Sports Network have plenty of games to fill out the week. Tuesday night NBCSN have the Capitals and Penguins showdown and then Washington go to New York on Sunday night. NHL Network have six games starting Wednesday with a Saturday doubleheader.
