***Update: NBCSN announced they will have a half hour pregame show with
the team of McHugh, Flutie and Ward to open Notre Dame games onsite
(including the 10/5 game at Dallas). The pregame and halftime will air
on NBCSN, except for the home opener, which will air on NBC.
NBC will continue its 22 year coverage of the Notre Dame football. Dan Hicks will be new play by play man for Fighting Irish football with the returning Mike Mayock and Alex Flanagan for six home games from South Bend. Three monster games with possible BCS implications include match up against Michigan State, Oklahoma and rival USC. NBC will also air one road telecast from the former Dallas Stadium against Arizona State.
NBCSN will air a select number of games from non-bowl conferences the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and the Ivy League with the schedule and talent to be announced.
