Stanley Cup Finals TV Schedule


 And then there were two.

The strike shorten 2013 NHL season reaches its conclusion as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Boston Bruins for Lord Stanley's Cup.  It is the first Stanely Cup finals between original six member since 1979 and the first meeting between the respective 2010 and 2011 champs.  With both conference finals series ending quicker than expected, the championship series will get under way Wednesday night at 8PM on NBC.  Both Universal properties will have coverage of the series, with an OTA broadcast opening the series, while the cable brethren will air games 2 and 3.  NBC will take over the rest of the series starting from game 4 on to all necessary games.  

The main team of Mike 'Doc' Emrick and Eddie Olczyk arebac k in the booth for the finals, with Peirre McGuire behind the glass.  Sirius XM will simulcast both local broadcasts of the series. RDS and CBC will both have coverage in Canada with Pierre Houde and Marc Denis in the booth for RDS. CBC will have their Hockey Night in America team of Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson and Glenn Healy (behind the glass) on the call.
