CBS's will have coverage of the Final Four this weekend with the NCAA Tournament's national semifinals from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The surprising 9 seed Wichita State Shockers will take on the #1 team in the country, Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals after 6PM. That will be followed by a Big10-BigEast classic as the Orange of Syracuse take on the Michigan Wolverines. CBS's Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg, along with Turner's Steve Kerr will have the call with Tracey Wolfson as the court side reporter.
CBS's coverage starts at 4PM with the Final Four Show hosted by Greg Gumbel along with the clumsily awkward studio crew of Greg Anthony, Charles Barkely, Kenny Smith and the controversial Doug Gottlieb. Everyone will be back on Monday night, April 8 for the National Championship game on CBS at 9PM.
ESPN will have the Women's final four on Sunday from the New Orleans Arena. Coverage starts at 6PM with the pregame show followed by the national semifinals doubleheader thirty minutes later. The games will feature three Big East teams, starting with Louisville's women's, team also reaching the Final Four, taking on Cal. Later, Notre Dame will face Geno Auriemma's Connecticut Lady Huskies. Dave O'Brien and Doris Burke have the call with Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe sharing court side reporting duties. The Championship game will be on Tuesday night, April 9 on ESPN.
